Daniela started her dancing career at the Brasilia Ballet Company in 1986 after having completed her training at the Brasilia Ballet Academy and the Tanzschule der Staatsoper Hamburg (direction John Neumeier).
As a member of two repertoire companies, in Portugal and the Netherlands, she danced choreographies by David Parsons, Igal Perry, Paulo Ribeiro, Merce Cunningham, Rui Horta, Mark Haim, Amanda Miller, Ton Simons among others.
Since 1992 she has been working as a freelancer.
In Holland she repetidely worked with Anouk van Dijk, Roland Schankula ,
Michael Schumacher, Paul Selwyn Norton, Johan Greben, Marcelo Evelin and
Leine / Roebana.
Daniela has also danced her own work, the Solo pieces "a minute of silence", Anakrousis", "Vilt", "Goldberg Variations" and "Partita", all performed in different places in Europe.
She worked with Director Peter Sellars on his productions of John Adam's "El Nino" and on Stravinsky's "Biblical Pieces", where she collaborated with choreographers
Donald Bird and Mark Morris.
Since living in Germany she has worked with Choreografers Stephanie Felber and Cristina d’Alberto and with Theater Director Jan Struckmeier.
Together with various improvisation artists, including Michael Schumacher, Kathy Duck and Katja Wachter, Daniela was seen in many improvisation performances
